David Cook-Failure!

Today I went to the venue early to try and catch David Cook mind you I was the only person there ( which is surprising) anyways..........I see David and I politely ask him for a photo and he mumbled something and ran onto the bus.He got back off the bus and I thought yay he is coming back over.Wrong! Instead he went behind the bus and ignored me.Really classy Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler all love their fans but David Cook cannot stop for one second and sign? Give me a break.............I heard later he signed after the show but by that point I was angry so I didn't stay afterwards but he only did autos no pics.It makes me angry he will blow off one fan but sign for 30?? Makes no sense! And he didn't do a meet and greet either.I asked my local radio station and they said no he isn't doing meet and greets tonight.

Wow, you're right. That was very classy of him. You're a fan who got their early to get one little picture with him, you paid money to see his show, and he can't even give you a second of attention.
I was lucky enough to go to the idol tour last year, I was able to meet him as well as all the other idols.All of them were very sweet and were happy to talk to the fans. I met them at the buses before the show, as well as after the show they sorta did an unofficial meet and greet with quite a few people. David Cook came out for both, but was defiantly the least friendly of them all. I got him to sign my program though. Nobody seemed to be able to get a picture with him.
I love his music, but even watching him on idol I got a vibe he wasn't the most friendly and grateful person. :neutral:

Exactly................Someone said his family was there but........They didn't even show up until after I got blown off.So really no one can use that excuse and say oh sorry he didn't sign because his family was there. Someone else said he doesn't sign before shows.Which really doesn't make sense since again I was the only person there.Now I could see if maybe there were more people but there weren't . Kellie Pickler, Jordin Sparks, Carrie, Bucky ( I am sure there are more) always sign before shows and many stars prefer signing beforehand than afterwards and when he signs he never takes pics.He does seem ungrateful.Someone yelled out please play Billie Jean and he snapped that isn't on my album.Again,really classy He should be thankful he even has fans.Shouting at people isn't nice.Maybe they wanted a MJ tribute.Yelling and saying it's not on the album is tacky

He's usually real good about signing, but it's normally after the show when he signs the most. He doesn't always take photos, maybe he was pressed for time. I saw someone who got a photo with him before the show on July 3rd, so maybe it was the fact his family was coming to your show and he had to get soundcheck and the actual business stuff done in pressed time.

I do want to point out that lately he's had some overzealous fans cause some problems. One walked right onto the bus as the band was changing clothes after the show. As if they'd be cool with a total stranger coming on the bus to begin with, without permission. Another put a tracking device on their bus so they could follow them to hotels.

One or two fans have the ability to ruin it for everyone.

I understand he has family,etc but at the show I attended it was just him and his bandmates and I am assuming his manager with him.I understand the whole stalker thing but I was the only person there and it was noon.When I saw him last year he signed for over 100 people and this was waaaaaaay before the show and took pics.So honestly I think the fame is kinda getting to his head with no pictures or the attitude I am bothering you.When I met Miley Cyrus who is 10 times more popular than he will ever be she took the time to sign for a bunch of people.When I saw him performing he didn't seem into it.He ignored the one person who had their CD liner up the entire time and she was up front. Just in my opinion he is a different person than he was last year.
