I was able to attend the Surrey International Writers Confrence in Surrey BC, Canada
I was only able to attend the book fair portion of the confrence as alot of the seminars were very pricey.The event was October 23rd-25th 2009
However my fav author since the late '80's has been Robert McCammon
He signed the first book I ever bought of his "Swan Song" also the most recent "The Queen of Bedlam"

Also in attendance was actress/writer Meg Tilly unknow to me has penned 4 books, I also knew she was going to be there and asked her to sign my copy of "Body Snatchers"
she was VERY nice to talk to as well
