Variety Club Showbiz Awards 09 SUCCESSES! Scans added

Hey all my first IP post but have been collecting in person for some time..went to the variety showbiz awards at the Grosvenor House london not really knowing what to expect as i couldnt find out who was going to be attending anywhere..arrived at about 4.15 there were about 10 people waiting at that time and by 6pm (arrivals) there were only about 80 people so thats a bonus. Unlike last year they were actually letting the waiting people into where the red carpet was so me and my financee got a great spot near where the cars dropped off!
Many celebs were in atendance and all were signing down the line i got Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian Mckellen, The Saturdays, Alesha Dixon, Spandau Ballet, Kelly Brook, David Suchet, Sir Ben Kingsley, Joe Calzaghe, Gloria Hunniford, Justin Lee Collins and Kelly Holmes, there were lots more to get but dident know there times untill they were past me my highlights were Ian Mckellen and Patrick Stewart both really nice

I was there and I also got that weird scribble unfortunately mine got a bit smudged

Thank you sooooooo much i thought it may have been a saturday but who can tell with that scribble haha how did yours get smudged? was it a photo? i would have took photos to get signed but i dident know who was going to be there no mater how hard i looked so it was all a surprise on the day..

I found out about the awards in the morning and searched the internet to find out who was attending, there were some sites saying Alesha Dixon and The Saturdays would be there.
I did get all of 'The Saturdays' on a photo and I still don't know how I managed to smudge it not only that but i have my thumb print on it aswell!

I kinda liked not knowing who was attending as it made it more exciting when you see Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen walk up!

Patrick and Ian can be funny about signing sometimes, they are quite nice.

meeting Patrick and Ian made my year! my two fave actors!! I have met patrick at godot in milton keynes but only signed programmes and ian never came out so now i can mount them up with a pic :-) ian looked very ill when he first came in the gate but was lovely when we managed to call him over
