GRIFF RHYS JONES AND JODIE PRENGER HUGE OLIVER SUCCESSES

Last night I met the lovely Griff Rhys Jones who has recently taken over the role of FAGIN in the west end's production of OLIVER> Jodie Prenger continues to star as Nancy and both do a superb job. A great show and I highly recomend it.

After the show they both posed for photographs and signed autographs. Very happy


Sadly on the way home I was nearly mugged and got punched in th face. It was seriosly most scary experince of my life, I though I was going to get stabbed. Its frightening whats out there and the people, serisly, take care!

Firstly, congratulations on your successes Benedict! Did you bring along those photos or were they from a show flyer or something? Good photos too. I'm interested to hear how Griff is getting along as Fagin, did you see the show last night by the way, if so what was Griff like? I saw Rowan when I went in June and he was brilliant (though no one beats Jodie for me) but I'd love to see it again with Griff Rhys Jones. Great photos, Jodie looks gorgeous as ever.

Well done about the autographs, sorry to hear about the incident on the way home though! What way did you head back? I'd have headed towards Strand and to Charing Cross, though if there are gangs and stuff there, then I'm not so sure...

regarding incident; this wouldnt have happened if it wasnt for the trains stopping at 7pm due to the weather!!! I had to seek alternative arangements, the only way to get home for me is to wait till 1pm for th 1st night bus. I am so lucky nothing orse happened

Pheobe; They were my photos I found on the internet, I love the one of Jodie, she is amazing, so very nice. I agree with you completely. Yes, I did see the show last night and Griff is an excellent Fagin, I last saw if with Rowan too and thought he was superb. Griff is just as good although Rowan has a little something extra if u know what I mean but seriosly griif does a superb job, defiantely worth a watch.

They both come out the stagg door and sign and pose no probs. Im defiantely going back becase Jodie finishes in March, I asked her! I truly she does lots more when she leaves, she truly is so talented.

Ooh good to hear a review of Griff's performance. He is very talented and I'd love to see Oliver! again before Jodie leaves but I don't know if I'll fit it in - hopefully I'll be in London at some point and get the chance. Kerry Ellis is taking over after Jodie.

Jodie is one of a kind I agree, a true star. She really makes me laugh too, she's just a truly lovely woman and so talented too. I hope she does loads more theatre too, and I'm sure she will.

Great success! I'm DEFINITELY going too meet Jodie again this month-I admire her too bits. Have met her twice and as Phoebe said, she is lovely. And glad to heard a good review of Griff. Oliver! is a great show-I said it with Omid Djaili as Fagin and he was hilarious!
