LOST Cast

Yesterday some of the cast members of LOST were on a local talk show. On the show were Matthew Fox, Naveen Andrews, Harold Perrineau, Emily De Ravin, Daniel Dae Kim, Terry O'Quinn, Jeremy Davies, Nestor Carbonell, Michael Emerson, and Alan Dale. I've pretty much meet most of the cast and have gotten their autographs many times in the past. My main goal was to get Jeremy Davies to sign my Saving Private Ryan book and to get Naveen to finish of a cast photo that I have been working on ever since the begining of the first season. Like I said I've meet the cast before but Naveen is so rare to get. In all the years the show has been on I've only meet him once. And that was at an ABC Fan event at Disney's California Adventure, way back at the start of season one.
I got to the studio at 9am. I figure, since LOST has a huge fan base that I would be alot of people waiting. I was suprised to find that there were only a few people. I was also most suprised that that none of the dealers and "pushy" collectors were around. Maybe because it was early and on a Sunday. Anyway the cast didn't arrive till around 3. Arriving, everybody signed except Daniel Dae, Michael, Harold and to my disapointment, Naveen. One person who suprised me was Emily. Though she does sign, she isn't particulary fan friendly. She usually signs one per person, personalizes and insisits on using a black sharpie. She was a totaly differnt person. She posed for photo opp's and signed everything you had. Still, though I was bummed that Naveen wouldn't come over. During the show, he did come out a few times to tak a smoke break but he just ignored us. But it isn't over till the fat lady sings.
Around 6 the cast started to leave. But no would seem to come over. Jeremy though, bless his heart, came over again and started to sign some more. AND, a big shocker, Naveen came over and started to sign autographs and take pictures as well!! I nearly had a heart attack when I saw him coming over! Apparently Jeremy talked Naveen into coing over. That was very nice of him to do that.
It was a very long day but as a true LOST fan it was well worth it. I will miss the show very much.

Great success! The finale of the show was so amazing. After watching for 6 years I can say I was satisfied.
Could you post a scan of the cast autograph?

Lemme guess Kimmel right?? I went there a few times and no one ever comes out. I know they do because of your success and youtube videos. Someone said ( don't quote me on this) There are several collectors who hit Kimmel all the time and his security has alerted celebs telling them not to sign.

Yeah heyheyyou it was Kimmel.
You are right, you do take a big chance waiting and hoping that the celebrity will come over and sign. I live in Orange County, which is aproxamently a 45 minute drive so I rarely try to do Kimmel. It is a hit and miss, mostly a miss, but I figured with the show ending the cast would be in a good mood and sign for the fans. I took a chance and it worked out for the best.
The cast photo, which I finally finished after 6 years came out nice and I wish I could show it off to the fellow readers of FanMail but unfortunately I don't have a scanner.
I have heard the story about why security doesn't being the celebrities over and I think it is is true. There is a annoying collector who comes out here that the security hate. He is probably the cause.

I think I know the collector you are speaking of. I always get failures at Kimmel because of that guy. I don't live in LA but when I do go that stupid collector is there and they won't sign. Heck he even chased one person and ha,ha still didn't get them.
