I went up to the BBC Radio Theatre today to meet one of my favourite bands, Scouting for Girls! I missed them going in as they got in early to soundcheck. So waited around waiting for them to finish and come out.
However had to find a loo, so went to McDonalds close by, came back to find I had missed them

was overly annoying that they had to leave in that 5 minute section!
Not giving up easily, followed the direction they had left in (on foot), hoping that there may be a very small chance of finding them, not expecting to.
Yet, after 3 or 4 minutes, found them and their "crew" sitting outside a pub!

So went up to them, told them I'd missed them, and ended up spending about 5 minutes sitting with them, talking about all sorts of things!!

From their music, their tour, my A levels, cycling, and they answered a few questions I had!
They (Roy, Greg, and the right honourable Dr Peter Ellard

signed my album sleeve of "Everybody Wants to be on TV" and my sleeve of "This Aint A Love Song". They also posed for one of my favourite photos with:

So happy, not every day you get to spend 5 minutes at a pub with one of your favourite bands!! Especially happy since I thought I wouldn't get them!
