Chili Davis (3x World Series Champ)

Chili is currently the batting coach on the Triple A Red Sox team and they are in town playing our Triple A team. Before the game I met him at the hotel, but he refused to sign for me. I had asked him if he would sign at the stadium? At which he replied, "yes". So I started walking from the hotel to the stadium and he saw my determination and called me over half way to the stadium. He told me that he doesn't sign at the hotel because if he doens't for one person than he is going to be approached by "many". I was the only one around that knew who he even was... He signed a ROMLB ball for me on the SS.

After the game I met him again as he was coming out the visitor's gate and he signed another ROMLB ball for me on the SS. He recognized me and said, "you're the Navy guy right?".
