Wow.. July has been such a wacky month for me... anyways, I just got back from the Rockstar Mayhen Energy Festival in Houston, and was so happy that I was able to meet Slipknot!! They were all very kind!!!! I got a photo with the band, an autograph, four guitar picks, and a drumstick!!! I also was extremly lucky enough to meet Underoath, Dragonforce, and Disturbed!!

Congrats! Do you have any scans or pics of the autographs?

I`ll have to scan them tonight because I can`t find the plug to my printer/scanner. I promise I`ll post scans today though!

How exactly did you meet them? Meet and Greet or just randomly found them?
My friend is going to the Mayhem Tour when it comes here, but he has no hope in meeting them.

I'd love to see scans.

I stayed about thirty minutes after the show, and they happened to be chillin around the venue. I caught one of them looking in my direction and I just walked over there. They were nice, I had a nice chat with them, and about ten minutes later I asked for an autograph, they gave me four guitar picks, a drumstick, and I got a photo with them with their masks on! My scanner is all messed up---it keeps turning off whenever I tried to scan the autograph and photo.

Ew, they still had their masks on?
I'd think it would have been hot and they were sweaty and they'd want to take those off.

It would have been really sweet if they would have signed one of their masks,
since I'm guessing they have many of them. :razz:

But that was really nice of them.

I don't know if they've changed recently, but they used to only have one mask each! In fact, Corey's mask fromt he first few albums, the hair was made from his own after he shaved his head!

I have a DVD of them ('Disasterpieces') and it shows Clown vomiting before the show, and heading right out onto the stage for the performance! If I was them, I would want to feel disgusting and grimey as I portrayed that, too! It's not happy music!
