Met Catherine and Cast of 'Under The Blue Sky' yesterday at the stage door of Duke Of Yorks Theatre in London. I got a flyer signed by the whole cast and catherine signed an additional flyer and 2 postcards
Since I got Catherine last week she seems to have shortened her sig to 'C Tate'

Well done

only thing is, she still does not seem to be answering her TTM request. I sent her a really nice letter, which she would have received, the opening night, or the day after, I'm not holding out for an answer now.

Sorry to hear about that. Some people are just lousy TTM - even via venue and great in person. She may still reply - she may have just had a lot of mail even at that early stage when you sent.

I think a hand full of people from the site have requested with no reply
Mymymy when does the show end? Im gonna guess if nothing happens by then, then stop waiting.
I've got a feeling she may well just pass it on to her agent, or someones not passed them on to her.

Not sure of the end date. I know it runs for 10 weeks in total so probably around 4 or 5 weeks left.
She rarely replies TTM via her agency anyway so I doubt she replies via venue either

Since Catherine injured her wrist before the show, it's very possible that the VV requests have been put to one side for her to reply to afterwards. Or they may not have been passed on to her, it's the risk we take

Great success!
I actually went to see "Under the Blue Sky" last month because of Chris O'Dowd, since I'm a big fan of his. After the play, my friend and I went to the stagedoor to try our luck with him. He was extremely nice and funny! He signed my programme, posed for a photo with me and talked with us a bit about the next series of "The IT Crowd". It was truly wonderful.
We initially planned to get the entire cast to sign our programme since we enjoyed the play, but Francesca Annis left while we were with Chris (woe), and then Tate was taking a lot to come out so we just went home. But well, Chris was the point and I'm not really a Tate fan, so. Good to know she's nice, though.
Ironically, she made a surprise appearance at the Doctor Who Prom a few days later and we were there, heh.

Thanks you are very kind

{thumb2} {thumb2} sadly these things happen, but I was over the moon with my David Tenant successes a couple of weeks back, and I was pleased with your positive answer from David, and everyone else's
Funny thing is I never really liked Catherine Tate's show at all, but when she does Dr Who or old period Drama, she really is pretty good.

In all honesty I am not actually a big fan of catherine or anything. She is one of those people who I felt I should get but really could easily live without. Once Doctor Who gets a new ompanion in the next series she will be the onne getting all the attention and Catherine will just go buack to being that woman frm The CAtherine TAte Show of which I only like one sketch.

I loved catherine Tate, ever since I saw her on red nose day with Mcfly I never laughted so much and I honestly thought she was a tennager not someone from a tv show she was doing the whole Am I bothered thing.
When she was in the xmas epp I thought she was great, when she made companion I had my doubts but she was sooooo brilliant!
Sadly the only bad thing I can see is the fan mail side of things, surely if someone would take the effort to write to the theatre they are fans and she should take note and at least reply even if its a letter "sorry catherine is too busy to reply"
