Hello,

I met Sean Astin from the Lord of the Rings and Kristy Swanson who was the first Buffy Summers for Buffy The Vampire Slayer the movie.

I met them both today, at the Metro Convention Centre in downtown Toronto August. 23, 2008.

Kristy Swanson at around 1:00 ish
Sean Astin at around 2:10




(And yes... the man in the background is Brent Spiner aka Data from Star Trek, it wasn't until I uploaded the pictures for a fuller view that I noticed he was in the background)





I apologize, the pictures at Sean's table were all curved and Kristy's weren't so part of my monitor's screen showed up and I tried to get a good shot of Sean's signature. Both were very nice, asking if I wanted the photo's personalized, Kristy came out from behind her table ot stand with me. Put her arm around my back, Sean didn't have very much room between the walls so when I asked if I could have a picture with him he said "step into my office" and leaned in towards me for the photo.

Both signed photo's are 8x10's.

Hey Kagome!

I so wanted to go for the FanExpo but I really didn't have the time. Glad you met Sean and Kristy Swanson. They are both absolutely amazing in what works they have done. Congrats!

Congrats on that! I might run into Sean this weekend at Dragon*Con, but there's lots of other guests I want to meet as well.

Yeah I wanted to meet Renee O'Connor but the line up for her's didn't move for liek 40 minutes - I may have only moved like 2 inches and had a feeling I'd be there for hours... but I wanted to get Sean and Kristy's. Didn't want to spend the entire afternoon waiting to get her's so I gave up.

Renee would have been a nice meet! So would have been Brent Spiner and Laura Vandervoot.

btw, if you don't mind me asking, Sean charged this year for autographs as well right? How much was it cause I knew many of the stars this year charged for autographs as far as I know.

You seem to be a FanExpo Fan Kagome - Hope you have as much luck and more next year too!
