Tonight I went to get John Hannah's auto before the evening perfomance of 'Riflemind' currently in previews at Trafalgar Studios.
John very kindy signed my autograph book. While waiting I got talking with another collector. When I asked about if Philip Seymour Hoffman who is directing signs he said very rarely and he had tried him twice and completely ijnored him.
Anyway just as I was leaving Philip approached looking very scruffy and puffing on a cigarette. He didnt look aprochable atall but gave him a go. He looked at me and could tell he didnt really want to sign but he did put pen to paper for about 2 seconds. It is a rubish sig - not even his initialls. Maybe he signs like that but have never seen any examples to compare.
I could be wrong but he truly looks a missery.
