Hello there,

From 5 to 14 September I was in Deauville for the American Film Festival.
Deauville is in Normandy (France) at less than 2 hours from me. So, since 2001 I'm going each year (except in 2002) at Deauville film festival. First it was just a day or 2, or 3. But since 2005 I'm going during all the festival (10 days)
I've met there a lot of celebrities like Harrison Ford, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Meryl Streep, Sydney Pollack, Vin Diesel, Aaron Eckhart, etc.
And this year it was Samuel L. Jackson, Kevin Spacey, Spike Lee, John Malkovich, William Hurt, Maria Bello, Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen (to name only the most known).

Viggo Mortensen and Ed Harris are amazing and very nice with fans.
John Malkovich is not that kind, but still nice though. And he is a great actor too.

Edit : there is something you have to know about John Malkovich : he refused to signe with a blue pen ! Only in black, only on some pics and not others, sometimes on blank paper, sometimes he refused too...so it's kind of hard to have his autographe !

Many actors do that. Including Viggo and much much more! This is due to the fact that most autograph dealers use blue sharpies.

But congrats, Elodie!! You met many hard to get celebrities this time around!!! That's so cool you're able to attend the Deauville Film Festival each year!!

Larisie you're right, I've allready noticed some actors refuse to sign with blue sharpies. I didn't know for Viggo because he used the same black pen for everybody, as Ed Harris.
But anyway, I always take a black one
