Yesterday I got one of my all time wanted autographs. I got to be up close to Roger Moore even if it was only for a few seconds whilst he signed my copy of his autobiography.
He is currently promoting the book with some sinings in Waterstones. There is one in Bluewater tommorow if anyone is interested.
There are a lot of rules: strictly only signing copies of the book but you could get 2 copies signed, not even autograph books. No photos with him which I wa guttted about but it would have held up the cue - as it was it was fast moving. It was his 81st Birthday the day before and he looks so great and healthy for his age. I always imagine older people would sign slowly but he signed very fast and it was a full sig.
I am over the moon - I did wait since 7am for the signing at 5.30 but that way I was 3rd in line and guaranteed a sig. There were eventually 300 people waiting and it is up to Roger how many he wants to sign - in theory he can stop when he wants.
It was so worth the wait and i am so happy to get the auto of my favourite bond actor.

Re: ROGER MOORE SUCCESS - WATERSTONES BOOK SIGNING
Yeah , but I'm still gonna risk getting my Bond poster signed or at least the Zorin check....this is too good a oppurtunity to waste ;)
Re: ROGER MOORE SUCCESS - WATERSTONES BOOK SIGNING
You can but try but they are very strict. You shouldnt knock a signed book. Yah, a photo would be amazing but this is just as good.
One other rule - no personalisations. I asked him and someone butted in saying sorry - no personalsiations - no exceptions -you cant be diffferent to anyone else. I only wish he would personalise. Fair enough it takes longer but alreaady there are dozens of these signed book up for sale on ebay. Sick!

No speech, just posed for the paparazi taking photos for about 5 minutes then he sat down and straight on to the signing. He didnt say even hello to anyone but he obviously didnt have time as a few hundred people were waiting in que.
Still felt it was a bit rude as I was 3rd in line and what efoort is it to reply saying hello. Completely understand though.
