Hi,
Today I went to the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, to meet the cast of Oliver!. I missed Rowan Atkinson so arrived amazingly early, half an hour before I arrived.
However I did manage to get:
Burn Gorman, who signed two photos of him in Torchwood.
- 2 Torchwood photos
Jodie Prenger, who won the BBC programme to play Nancy, who kindly signed three index cards for me.
- 3 index cards
Julian Glover, who has appeared in Star Wars, Harry Potter, Troy, and Indiana Jones.
- Troy DVD
- Index card
I didn't see Julian Bleach.

Hi James, congrats! I was probably on the opposite side of the theatre to you that afternoon... loitering at the Novello stage door! My final (at least... final planned one...) Hamlet, and was thrilled to see David perform

Managed to get Patrick Stewart's autograph at the stage door after the show, and we saw Sir Ian McKellen arrive for the show, and leave by the stage door when we were waiting for Patrick (obviously they were having a good natter after the show

). He didn't sign for anyone, and no one asked him too... thought it would be rude to ask, him being on a night out and everything.

What time did you go past? The cast usually arrive around 4-5pm, though I think David had been there pretty much all day rehearsing & testing out his back. Edward Bennett arrived at 4pm (I know cause I was on the phone to my friend at the time & checked the time stamp on the call). I was inside the building at that point though, ran out to see Edward as he passed then left quickly after. After the show I think we were there for ages, a huge crowd had gathered behind the barriers for David. The show ended at around 10:50. I think we were there til at east 11:30 waiting for Patrick.
