So I went to London to see Hamlet. It was absolutely wonderful! I'm so glad David is ok and was able to perform! :) I've talked to Ed Bennet a bit and he really seems like a nice guy. On the other hand, Patrick Stewart apparently never is in a mood for fans (which is sad since I really hoped to talk to him a little). I loved the minimalistic feel of the play...and everyone on the cast was so great. It's been a great experience :)

On Saturday, I didn't get any autos since I've arrived at 4:30 pm and David was already inside. Patrick Stewart went through the front door with some people so I've only talked to Ed Bennet.

On Monday, I arrived at 4 pm but apparently missed David by a few minutes which really made me sad. After some time, Patrick Stewart rushed in talking to his phone so I didn't bother him. After about an hour, he went out again (to buy milk :D) and I've briefly talked to him on his way back in but as I've said he was impersonal so I didn't even ask him for a photo (which is what I wanted). He signed my playbill and rushed back in. After that I've got Ed Bennet's signature and went to the theatre to see the play. After the play, I was lucky enough to get David's signature - he spent about 60 seconds and then went to his car. I can't blame him, he must be tired of all the fuss but a lot of folks were disappointed.

Anyway, it was a great trip to London. Here is the scan of my playbill.

I'm sorry if all this doesn't make much sense - I've just arrived back home :)

Congrats Reav! I was outside the theatre talking to Edward at 4pm on Saturday - you must have just missed me haha

I can't blame David for not signing either, it's been around -5 in London on those nights, and there's simply too many people to sign for. Not to mention he must be knackered after 3 and a bit hours on stage, and that's not to mention that's still in recovery from surgery. He needs all the rest he can get :)
