Suchet & Atkinson - success - Dreyfus & Guttenberg - failure

Bit of a hit and miss weekend. Travelled into the West End last night to try and catch Richard Dreyfus after hearing there is a 50/50 chance of him signing.
1 x David Suchet (charming as always and happy to sign anything - I got him to sign my Professionals DVD)
We waited ages for Dreyfus and were told by security that he had left. This was false info as someone also told us he was in the bar and even when he does surface hours later he will not be signing.
Moved onto Covent Garden and walked into hundreds of people waiting for the cast of Oliver - I thought there would be no chance of getting anyone at this rate. Much to my surprise Rowan Atkinson came out and signed for quite a few people (even posing for photos for some).
1 x Rowan Atkinson (autograph book).
Wanted to try for David Tennant & Patrick Stewart (their last night) but again there were hundreds of people waiting and there was a risk I would miss my train home so gave it a miss - I have already met them before so it wasn't too bad.
On Sunday travelled to Bromley to catch Steve Guttenberg - waited nearly 3hrs to find that he was so late for the panto he sneaked in the front door. However, I did manage to get his co-star.
1 x Helen Lederer (autograph book).
I've been in-person collecting for years now but am finding it is becoming more difficult due to non-signers and too many dealers - shame really as it used to be a fun hobby!
