After God of Carnage, we went to the back of Impressionism to wait for Jeremy Irons. Someone said Joan Allen left through the back. We waited a while and Jeremy Irons suddenly appeared out of nowhere about to go into a restaurant. He signed for us, but when we asked for pictures with, he politely refused, "Sorry I can't because then everyone would want one."
We crossed the street to the crowd over at the Shubert Theatre for Blithe Spirit. Rupert Everett came out and signed a ton of autographs. He kept signing and thanking everyone. I got him to sign 2 Blithe Spirit playbills. Angela Lansbury came out and she signed playbills for almost everyone. I was one of the last ones to get her on one of my playbills that Rupert Everett signed.
After we got Lansbury, we rushed over to the opening of Irena's Vow at the Walter Kerr Theatre. I got Elaine Stritch, Roger Rees, Blythe Danner, and James Naughton on index cards. Didn't wait for the end of the play.
