I met Jan & Mickey Rooney, Ernest Borgnine and Joan Collins at Birmingham Autographica today

Unfortunately, I got there too late for the photo shoots so I didn't get to have my photo taken with Jan & Mickey or Joan but they did pose for photo's for me {thumb2}

I met Jan & Mickey first. Both were so friendly and chatty and Jan was so impressed by my photography ( ) that she gave me her email address so I could send the photo I took of her and Mickey as she liked it so much!

Next I met Ernest Borgnine. He was awesome!!!! If you ever get the chance to meet him, do it coz he's so nice! I chatted to him for a while about "A Catered Affair" in which he starred with Bette Davis and he also posed for a photo with me. Lovely guy!! http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x118 ... 190618.jpg

Finaly I met Joan Collins. I was really disappointed that I didn't get a photo with her but at least I got to meet her! She was at lunch when I went to buy her autograph ticket but I hung around and was one of the first in the queue when she came back - thank god coz it soon got very long!!!! She was very nice but rushed! She happily posed for a photo for me and was happy to let people take as many photo's as they liked while she signed.

Also, my ip autograph matches my ttm from her perfectly so I know mine isn't a sec {clap}

Thanks! Flippin' connector train was delayed so I missed out on getting a photo with her. I'm going to sue British Rail I think

She was friendly , and very quiet , when I met her early Saturday morning ( open queue even ) , but got a LOT busier later . I'm glad I wangled my finances around to be able to get her

If you were there Sunday , that was probably why I didn't see you around Saturday

Mickey Rooney rocks. That is quite a nice picture you got of him and Jan. Haha, its every more cool than Jan asked you to contact her and send her that photo. Mickey has been my favourite since the time I watched The Black Stallion.

Ernest Borgnine - what can I say other than: The Dirty Dozen. Those were the good ol movies. haha

Glad you met Joan. You must have been hell excited for this. Congrats on the great successes.

Thanks Ad! I'm sorry I couldn't get you some of the Bond girls. They are so strict about getting "freebies" at conventions.
I will let you know the guest list for "Memorabilia Birmingham" in November as soon as they announce it. The Bond girls are always there so perhaps I could pick you up some autographs from there {thumb2}

Haha, no sweat. All is well. In fact, I wish I was in the UK right now as I would have loved to have met Mickey Rooney or George Kennedy. Haha. Thanks again for sharing!
