Got Ian's and Patrricks autos after a performance of "Waiting for Godot". It was strictly only show items that they would sign but Patrick wasnt heartless about this rule as he first kindly signed my paper (some people are very strict with this rule and dont even sign paper/auto books etc) then Ian did too, I then had a picture from the playprinted on next to the signatures. Unfortunately they are both celebs that wont allow photos with which I fully respect but is a great shame as I love Patrick's work.

AFAIK, Patrick allows photos taken only when he is in a good mood and it is not evening. Too bad Ian doesn't pose either

Ian McKellen does actually pose for photos, but it's unlikely he will in London where I'd imagine it's so busy. On the tour there were often only a couple of people waiting and as a result both signed photos, index cards etc, but Sir Ian obviously dedicated the Lord of the Rings stuff.
Wouldn't be surprised they'd have different rules in London with all the dealers about.

wow, that is auwsome, there actually have been vey few dealers after shows probably as it is only show items they are signing but still that rule applied, I may ask them nicely because it is only through word of mouth that I have heard this and I have learnt not to always trust what you hear
