Katy Perry IN PERSON

Ok, so Katy Perry is coming to where I live (Boston) the day after my birthday. So my Dad got me 4 tickets to see her (1 for my mom, 1 for me, and I can bring 2 friends). I am VERY exited to see Katy in concert, but an in-person autograph would be awesome. I have never met anyone famous, so all of my 5 successes have been through the mail. I would love to go backstage and meet Katy, but I am not a Very Important Person. My mom does not want to wait in any lines, so waiting in a big crowd is not an option for me. Does anyone know how to get her autograph, or how to become a V.I.P.? Thank you this really means a lot to me because meeting Katy on my birthday would be awesome!

P.S. I have already tried Katy TTM 2 times to the address that has worked for everyone else. I sent one request in December and one in February

Hi maybe you should try Katy perry TTM again, feb was a while ago, i would give it another try with the concert maybe ask your mom again? maybe talk to the manager asking to be a VIP, you may have to pay more money but that is up to you. hope i helped {thumb2}

You could try writing via the concert venue, including a photo/item to be signed and an SASE. Be sure to check with the venue first that they pass on fan mail to their artists.

Or you could perhaps wait at the performer's entrance before the start of the concert when there are fewer people there?

Ok, I am going to maybe have my mom call her agent and explain that the concert tickets were my b-day present and the concert is the day after I turn 12... Do you know approximately how much VIP passes might cost?

Not to be rude.......But this should be moved.This isn't a success.This section is for in person success not asking questions. Again, not to be rude.To answer your question though......Basically the only way sorry to break it to you..........Is VIPs are only for friends and families. No one gets VIPs unless you are friends with Katy or a family member and forget begging anyone for one. The roadies tend to ignore people who beg for stuff.Unless you wear some skimpy outfit and you are 12 you shouldn't be doing that. Sometimes radio stations give out meet and greets but those are not VIP. Basically you go into a room with about maybe 20 other radio contestant winners and they sometimes only just allow autographs and no photos or sometimes it is just photos not autographs.Totally depends and the radio station person takes the pictures and posts them on the radio station website.Basically you cannot take the picture yourself they supply the camera and it's usually rushed.Basically it's hi and bye.You have a better shot trying to get them after the show but alot of times they just wave and do not sign autographs. By the way you cannot buy VIP passes and please, please ( take this from someone who knows things) do not give money to anyone. Some people will take your money and say I will get you backstage and they just keep the money and since you are younger they would take advantage of you.I mean taking your money.So my advice is meet them by the stage door or try radio stations. It's not guranteed though.So please,please do not get your hopes up.I have learned if you get your hopes up you will get disapointed.

You could contact the venue that Katy will be preforming at and explain your problem (your mum doesnt want to wait in lines to meet Katy, your a huge fan and would love her autograph) and tell them that the tickets were for your Birthday and ask them politely if you could maby have some back stage passes just so you could get a picture & autograph with Katy
