Jason Mewes ("Jay" from the "Jay and Silent Bob Movies") was the main reason I attended the convention last year. I got a personalized photo and my CLERKS DVD signed. He charged $25.00 per item.

I am about to send to Kevin Smith, I would love to get the Jay and Silent Bob combo! He is a great signer VV. I can't believe he charged $25!

are you sending to kevin vv? i have heard he doesnt really do ttm... it would be cool to get a success tho as i have heard he is great with signing ip so maybe vv is the way to go... i have bought some signed dvds and comics off of kevin's site...

$20-$25 is about the average they usually charge at conventions. Anything over $30.00 is a bit much but if I really want the person I might spend it.

That convention I got nobody else but him so he took all my $ that day.

Okay, I understand. He didn't speciafically charge you $25, it was the price of admittance to the convention.

no, no... i'll try to clarify better.

Jason Mewes' price for an autograph was $25.00 at that event. Anything you wanted him to sign you had to pay him that amount. So it came to $50.00 for the two items I had him sign.

The price of admission for this particular event was $15.00 I believe.

What I meant was is that the standard rate I have seen people charge for autographs is between $20-$25. I have seen people charge $30.00 and up and I think that is a bit much.

Mewes was the only autographs I got at that particular event.

jason is such a nice guy, i saw one of his & kevin smith's q&a show in febuary and jason signed for me gladly while he was walking off the stage. great ip and 25 dollars for his autograph is not bad at all.
