JHON BARROWMAN- Great IP Sucess

Unread post by James »

Hi

My true Dr Who / Torchwood fan-ness showed today when I caught a train at 6.45AM  to get John Barrowman at Radio 2.

I guessed since his show was on so early, there would not be many people there, making it easier to get him.

He came out 7.30AM ish, and there were only 3 people waiting including me.
Got my 2 Torchwood 10x8s signed, and got a picture with him. He spent about 10 minutes outside with us talking, which was nice of him!

Scans / pics to follow.

Very nice success there James {thumb2} {thumb2} {thumb2} The one thing I really like about John is that he is an all round good signer, I even got him via venue, without a problem, mind you if you write via his agent, it can take months.

But his still one of the better signer....EVER

Thanks.
It seems to be a Dr Who trend, I don't know anyone who has been in it to not be a good signer!

WELL DONE JAMES {thumb2}

I got him at Radio 2 a few months ago, I think you were there that time too. It was the day David Tennant and Catherine Tate were co presenting and there were tonns of people, the most i have even seen at Radio 2. Despite the mass croud John signed for eveyone, unfortunaetly didnt personalise as that would have taken longer.

I believe he is in theatre soon though!

Yeah I was there.. but having seen the 5 Torchwood eps I felt I had to go and meet him again  and ask him some questions! I also went as I knew it wouldn't be busy and I'd get the dedications I wanted.

Yes he is La Cage Aux Folles from some time in September.. I think its going to be madness though so not hoping for much.

tansternant: I was only referring to the new series ;) but no haven't tried for her!

James, the only person, in Dr Who, that I ever had a problem, getting is John Simm, he was being interviewed, on BBC's Breakfast show some time back, and he said, that he does'ot like, doing autographs {down} {down} funny really when a star as big as Johnny Depp, said his happy to give, autos out and some one like John Simm, cd'ot care a less.

Anyway one of my prized Dr Who autographs, is from Frazer Heinz, who was in the Patrick Troughton series (A pity that people forget, how good an actor he was) That was the first series, I really remember..

I'm so happy, with your continued sucesses, see hard work always pay off {thumb2} {thumb2} :D :D
