LONDON FILM CON, INCLUDING SCOTT BAKULA scans now added

Such a great day it turned out to be for me. I attended the Film and Comic Con at Earls Court with Scott Bakula on the top of my list to get. Despite turning up fairly early there wer tonns of people infront of me; as advised the first thing i did was to get a virtual ticket for Scott; I was number 533!!!!!!!!! It was his first European signing so im not suprised the interest, not to mention the Star Trek connection/interest now.

Whilst waiting I got the others on my list; Danny John -Jules from Red Dwarf and Kenny Baker & Dave Prowse from Star Wars. Dave signed by pic already signed by James Earl Jones - I always wanted a pic signed by the both of them! Unfortunately no photo with Dave as he wasnt really in to all that.

There was then about 2 hours of waiting; just before Scott was going off to a talk there were a few spaces available for him to sign there so luckily I manged to get in a bit early by chance; Scott very kindly signed and personalised my photo (love the insciption as I adore Quantum Leap) and despite there being signs saying no posed photos I very politely asked Scott and kindly obliged, SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yayyy

Wow, YOU are just such a star, so very happy for you mate, {thumb2} I would have loved to have gone there myself...But the price of the autographs, up to £30, and I would have got loads....So i will have to be another time for me.

I know what you mean, I could have easily spent 3 times as much; I was trying to only get the ones I realy really wanted and i can say Scott is such a big one for me so I am very happy.

Although I really wanted pics with the others I know that Kenny and Danny sign TTM so it was a hard decision. Scott was £25!!!, the most expensive I think but it is worth becasue he is so rare, 1st eropean signing too. Looking back it was a bit steep but cant do anything about it.

Anyway who else loves Quantum Leap, no one by the severe lack of comments it seems!!!

Great job. I live in the states..But, that show always seems to get some great names. I would love to go one year. Especially, since I love London.

On a side note. I love in the picture of you and Scott their is a sign above you both saying no posed pics.

I know LOL, becasue I am such I big fan I just had to atleast ask and he said "okay then , be quick" and I was. Its never any harm to ask, if he had said no I would have respected his wish. Looking back, I was shaking so bad when I went up to meet him; I have never shaked so bad!

Sorry that I forgot to add, that I adore, Quantum leap, indeed I wish they, could maybe bring it, back, for maybe a couple of feature length esps.....

There were rumours a few years ago about a possible movie but havent heard anything since; I love it so much so maybe its best they leave it. I do really want to see Sam finally get home though!
