To me this is not much of a success. These people are charging money to sign autographs, so anybody can get them.

Most event or convention signings cost $$$$ I know this may be a shock but that's how it is. You may have to buy a pic, DVD, book or just pay for your item.

You go to a lot of these conventions you are expected to pay. How does that make it "not a success"? It's a success to me since I like the people I bought.

 40.00 for Linda Hamilton's auto?? You got to be kidding......Half those people you mentioned should be thankful someone actually wants their autos. They are has beens. Edward's career has been DOA since Terminator as with Linda. No offense James but I am sure if you saw them on the street you could get them free. I could understand if they were semi popular but these people haven't had a career in ages. Again, no offense........

No offense taken. I know these events are pricey but I pay with my own money on my own terms. I like those people and I was willing to pay for it.

If you think Linda Hamilton was bad... William Shatner from Star Trek was charging $80.00 an autograph.

I don't know what all the negativity is about. Congrats on your success! {up} I go to conventions too, and I don't mind paying a fee to get someone's auto because you can usually talk to someone that you've admired for a long time and thank them for their work.
