STING, Steven Tyler, Julia Stiles, E Street band successes!

Today I got Sting at Letterman, he came in at 3 pm for soundcheck and signed one each for the three of us there. It was raining so it didn't come out well on my photo. We came back to Letterman for the way out and Sting signed only 6 before leaving. I got him again on another photo. We waited at a hotel for Steven Tyler. A couple guys from E Street Band came back- Clarence Clemons, Nils Lofgren, Garry Tallent, and Max Weinberg. I got Garry and Max because I got Clarence and Nils last time. Saw Meryl Streep and she wouldn't sign because "I'm not working right now." Steven Tyler checked out of the hotel and signed like crap. I got a blank signed and he looked at me after I asked him to sign my autograph book. He then put two lines to form a X, just complete garbage. Jeff Beck turned us down for photos with and autographs. Some people went up to Jeff Beck thinking he was Steven Tyler and asked him to sign Aerosmith albums. I went to the Oleanna play to get Julia Stiles. She came out and asked me "Can I sign your playbill only?" She signed the playbill and I asked her to personalize my 8x10. She replied of course and added a smiley face after writing my name. Saw Sam Mendes and Kate Winslet leave a play, they didn't want to be spotted. Kate signed an index card for a friend before they jumped into a cab.

That is a horrible signature of Steven's.If I had to bet ( this happens to my friend alot) he probably thought you were an ebayer ( which obviously you aren't) but some celebs think just because you carry around index cards or glossies they assume you are an ebayer so they A-Sign like **** B-Refuse to sign or write ebay sucks on your autograph) That happens to my autographing friend alot.Luckily, that doesn't happen to me but I do get blown off.......
