I am very sad to report that today I have no successes to report.

I have just got back from the WORLD PREMIER of A CHRISTMAS CAROL in London. Before hand Jim Carrey switched on the Christmas Lights at Oxford Street.

I first made my way to Oxford Street in the hope I could catch Jim "backstage" at the lights switch on. They drove into an enclosure but there were gaps in the railings where I called to Jim, he waved but did not come over, during the light swatch on I got a spot directly backstage behing a railing, I was literally less than 2 meters from Jim but this time e completely ijnored me. When getting into his car I called again, he waved again, this time looking high above head height which was wierd (he may be one of these celebs I have heard that dot like looking at fans/common folk in the eyes)

Any way the premier was 5 minutes away by tube and I got there before Jim in the car, sadly Jim did not sign at the premier atall (with the exception of LITERALLY 7-10 as he got out the car near the press for publicity) and that was it, there was a massive premier set up, with 3 of the leicester sqaure cinemas and the square itslef taken over.

Robert Zemekis who I have always wanted to meet as he one half of the legend that bought life to BACK TO THE FUTURE! but I didnt sign ONE SINGLE THING or go aywhere near the fans, WAY TO GO FOR PUBLICIY ROB!!!!!

Then Bob Hoskins and Colin Firth did sign but no where near me.

ALL IN ALL VERY DISSAPOINTING. Although I love Jim's work and Robert's work I have to say, I AM VERY, VERY DISSAPOINTED IN THEM BOTH. I know they hav talent, ut Jim especially needs a blunt reminded that it is his fans who helped get him to where he is.

It is approaching Chritmas and I felt no Good spirit at this premier, it was depressing and sad for everyone.

I've heard that Zemeckis prolly has autism......that might be why he won't sign , cuz he's nervous.

That is disappointing.I love Jim sorry to hear he did that.

Big dissapointment but considering all the successes you've had in the past months you're bound to have a bad day once in a while.

thats a shame as i was going to make a trip to try and get some autos but after my quantum of solace premiere experience i thought twice...how long were you waiting for? also was michael j fox there? really want his auto but i know chances are slim :-)

Sorry about the failures I've heard jim is usually nice to meet in person, strange. Better luck next time...

Jim's always been a bit funny about what and where he signs. I was very lucky to get him at the Yes Man premiere (one of my 3 fave sucesses) as he only signed 20 or so in total.

No Michael J Fox either, obviosly I knew the chances were slim but you never know. There is a good chance he will attend the America premier though like he has done for otherfilms he has lent his voice too.

The thing was I wasnt the only one that left dissapointed, 99% of people did, the atmosphere afterwards was just heartbreaking, to have a really bad signer and 1 complete non signer was shocking especially after waiting for so long.

Oh well, at least I know from others that Jim has the problem and not us fans.

Onwards and upwards!!!
