When I learned that a whole bunch of celebrities that I'm interested in meeting are going to be at this year's Huntsville Comic and Pop Culture Expo from April 21-23 at the Von Braun Center, I wanted to take the opportunity to see them in person. The first one I met this year and the most expensive to pay for an autograph is the man who played Captain James T. Kirk of the original Star Trek series himself, William Shatner. I told him that when I was kid I grew up watching Star Trek: The Next Generation and that I have an autograph from Patrick Stewart. But I also told him that last year I watch all the first Star Trek movies he was in and several of the first episodes including the one where Khan made his debut. I had to pay $120 for his autograph. It is such a shame that he won't do selfies but I'm glad I met him this year. I hope you like the picture.
