Travelled down to London on 13/11/09 to see if I could meet David Tennant following his final broadcast of the Absolute Radio breakfast show. About 10mins after the show finished he came out and happily had enough time to sign for me & the 5 or so others waiting. He also posed for photos.

I asked David to sign my theatre programme which I have had for a while now. I took it to various London & Cardiff events hoping for him to sign it one day, and now he has. The programme is from a production David starred in called The Slab Boys Trilogy, in 1994! When he saw it, he said "well that's a blast from the past!"

I was going to do this one day but was at uni and during the day so couldnt, great that he was so nice and very few there though. He is always nice, just i think its hard when theres too many people

Indeed. We usually stay well back when we see him (like at Hamlet) as the crush is just immense. There were about 6 or 7 fans, 3 eBayers and a pap or two. Not too bad, but he had another radio show to get to do had to run off. Unfortunately he signed one item per eBayer which annoyed me, as he clearly knew exactly who they were (they'd been there the Wednesday too) and it meant one or two of the fans didnt get photos with him (happily, they followed him - not literally - to Radio 1 and got photos with him there!) They'd probably have only kicked up a fuss or something anyway so at least this way he signed for them and they left rather quickly.

Yes its anoying but like you say he signs even if he know they are just going to be sold, whats annoying is that he probably thinks we are all like that!

Hmm I think he can tell the genuine fans apart from the sellers. Haha on the Wednesday a mate of mine was there & saw a girl go "thankyou David I've waited years for this" and he went "I sign for you all the time :neutral: " lols. He's a smart boy ;)

He could tell when I met him in Nov who was a fan and who wasnt.. he signed one each for the dealers but then had time for me to talk and psoe for the photo with which I was very happy with!
