Last night I went over to the stage door of the Savoy Theatre to get the cast of LEGALLY BLONDe which has recently started previews!

I havent ever been to a stage door with so many people, there was about 40!!! around a rope barrier in a semi-circle. Each actor came out one by one and signed the wholw line, the only one that was a bit fussy and kept going on that he needed to leave was Peter Davidson. Duncan James, Jill Halffenny and the star, the beautifull SHERIDAN SMITH did the line very patiently, signing, chatting anf posing for photos for all!!!!

A good result there Benedict. Do you think that Peter is not signing any Doctor Who items for good?

Sheridan is great, she always is and is such a lovely, friendly person to meet.

Btw - what time do the cast leave?

Re Peter, well I might try for him one day on the way in, or try again, it cant hurt. In answer to your question, I have no idea! He obviusly knows or thinks his auto on Dr Who is valuable and probably wary of dealers who would sell them. Ive heard he can be funny about signing Dr Who so it wasnt a total shock when he refused.

Sheridan will forever be nice, she is so beaufifull, down to earth and a fantastic actress. I love her!

The show finishes 10pm, you need to be there at 9.50 to get a spot becasue as soon as the play finishes, front row spots behind the barriers are gone in literally seconds!! The cast came out quite quickly - Peter after 10 minutes, follwed by Duncan, Jill and finally Sheridan!

I hope they sign everynite, but they were all signing etc for a good 30-40 minutes as there were so many people, I did hear some security/stage door guy saying "we cant do this everynite"!!!, they just want to get home. I think Sheridan will always sign; she loves her fans and I think she finds it enjoyable after the show, see genuinly seemed to!

Nice successes Benedict, I'm so desperate to see Legally Blonde! Looks amazing. Sheridan seems lovely, and she's a brilliant actress too. Any sign of Aoife Mullholland or Amy Lennox at the stage door? I do love Amy she's brilliant.

I'm surprised that there are so many people waiting - Davison was in theatre earlier this year and Smith is always in theatre or signing @ other events.

I agree with you on Sheridan - she seems to be in every comedy on TV these days - she was excellent in Benidorm and great fun in Gavin & Stacey to name a few!

With so many 'names' in the West End at the moment I can only presume that LB is busy because it's only just started.

I wish I could go to see this play or at least to meet those guys. I've been a huge fan of Duncan for ages.

Damn, I wanted Peter to sign a Doctor Who photo (and maybe a DVD cover) over this run. Guess I can kiss goodbye to that...

thanks guys, hopefully it will settle own as its just started but 90% of people had seen the show and I doubt that will ease off any time soon

Did you push for a dedication on your Doctor Who pic? That's what I'm going to try, either today or Thursday...
