I am just so thrilled to have met the true film legend that is Lord Richard Attenborough. Richard briefly attended yesterdays lunchtime Richard Attenborough awards. I arrived at 11pm and it was 1pm when I thought he wasnt coming beasue I heard it was starting at 1 but then came Richard, he pulled up in his car with his wife, although 86, and ive heard he had a fall last year and had been ill I was therfore suprised how well he was looking, he was walking slowly but thats to be completly expected at his grand age.

Anyway Richard was very polite but said he could not sign standing up so he kindly took my photo in with him, he sat down in the foyer whilst I saw him sign it for me as requested, as he went inside i missed on th eopportunity of a possible photo with but dont know if he would do it anyway. Im just so happy to have got this acting and film makers legend!!! WOOP!!!

Yes I too adore Richard and everything about MIRACLE ON 34th Street, Loved Mara Wilson in it too, such a great feel good movie
