Griff Rhys Jones is currently playing a superb FAGIN in the west ends' production of OLIVER at The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.

I saw the show for the 2nd time with Griff last night and got autographs from most of the pinciples. Griff signed my Programme and a photo of him as fagin, loved he wrote his character name after his sig!! Also got the lovely Jodie Prenger who plays Nancy (finishes in March i believe!!! so hurry if you need her), and Julian Glover.

Missed Steven Hartley who is currently playing Bill Sykes as he came out the same time as Griff and wasnt stopping, will get him next time. VERY HAPPY!!!.

Brilliant successes Benedict! Great photo you took along for Griff. :) Jodie does finish in March yes, so so sad. But she'll go onto great things I'm sure.

Jodie knows me and a friend's names now and loves us coming.
When we got her last night we asked her what she had planned after OLIVER and said she couldnt tell us exacly (obvioslu to do with terms of contract etc) but at least its great to know she isnt one of those peopel we will never hear of again. She hinted at some TV and Radio presenting. When I said i loved her in Theatre and it would be a waste if she didnt do it again, she said definately theatre in the future!

The photo of Griff was scanned from the picture programme I bought at the theatre, there are a few more great pics of Griff as Fagin, one of him gettin the make up on!!! I will take them one or tow at a time to him. In my opinion, he is a better fagin than Rowan Atkinson.

Yep Jodie has said in interviews before that she'd love to do radion and TV - and she'd be great at it. She was brilliant when she took over from Elaine Paige for a few weeks last year, so chatty and an all round lovely person. She was her usual bubbly self on the mid-week lottery draws on Wednesday too.

It's a great photo, I love the Oliver! souvenir brochures, though mine is the original one with Burn and Rowan in it. Oh really? I thought Rowan was your favourite a couple of weeks ago, or has Griff grown on you now? :) He's hilarious.

Jodie is such a lovely lady, I doubt its just you she loves to see. She has the same attitude with every person she meets. Very similar to Sheridan, they love to meet all their fans and thank them for their support.

well before I saw Griif, I had seen Rowan and he was brilliant and didnt think he could be topped but in my opinion Griff has done just that. and yes, he is hillarious!

Yes, jodie loves everyone who sees the show but she rememebers me and a friend who have been a few times.

No Griff is currently contracted until June this year, though he might choose to stay on of course. I'll be interested to see who the next Fagin is as I think they'll get someone very good to close the show too.
