ANNA POPPLEWELL HUGE SUCCESS (SUSAN FROM NARNIA FILMS)

Yesterday was such a great day! I got to meet the beautiful and talented, Anna Popplewell who I was the very first person to meet at her very first convention, Birmingham Memorabilia (as far as I know of anyway). She seemed a bit shy and nervous but I chatted to her and she was very friendly and kind; she signed my items and very kindly posed for a photo with me. I asked her what palns she had for acting; as neither her of William appear in the next two NARNIA stories. She told me she is reaching the end of studying her degree (I heard she was studying and one of the main reasons she probably doesnt reply to her fanmail as much as she would like) She said she hoped that once she graduate, we will soon see her in more film, television, maybe ever theatre!

I am one of many that have witten to Anna without reply so thats even more reason I wanted to meet her!

The cast pic she signed (from a PRINCE CASPIAN) publicity photo shoot from some event, was also signed by Warwick Davis (see seperate post).

It is my great ambition to complete both cast shots eventually!

I've always wanted to send to her, but never did seeing how busy she is with her schoolwork. She seems to have a good head on her shoulders.

No way Benedict!! Your so lucky!! I'm also one of 'those people' who wrote to her but never got a reply. Nice to know she gave a reason why she's not currently replying to fanmail. Hoping her schedule will slow dwn once she's done with her schooling and she can attend to it all!! MAJOR CONGRATS!!

Congratulations on meeting Anna. I'm very pleased to see an IP as now I can match her handwriting to that of the note I received from her (I'm one of the lucky ones to receive a reply). Happy that it seems to prove it's genuine.

Yes, indeed, i can confirm, that after getting anna IP I checked her TTM successes and her sig is an exact match so definately hers. She seems real nice so am sure she will start to catch up on her fanmmail soon

Congrats on meeting Anna, Benedict! She's without any doubt the loveliest person I have ever met (even when I met only a few celebs), so I can imagine how pleasant this must have been. She's a real sweetheart, it's a pity she doesn't answer fan mail at the moment, but studying at Oxford (I believe) must be quite demanding, so no wonder. Let's hope it'll get better after she's done with her studies because she seems to love her fans a lot. I hope you'll complete your collection on the cast pictures .

thanks guys, i have no doubt Anna will begin to reply to fanmail soon, only thing is that she must have a massive back log so just be patient!
