Cuba Gooding Jr. and Christian Slater are filming a movie here in Ottawa and a few nights ago a friend and I went down to watch them film a scene. After filming both Christian and Cuba came across the street and met their fans. Cuba wasn't signing autographs but he was taking pictures with everyone. Christian on the other hand was signing autographs but I wasn't able to get a photo with him. Unfortunately I really hadn't planned on them coming over so I was unprepared and just had a folder so I got him to sign that. Both were very nice guys. I am still hoping to get Cuba's autograph though as he will be here filming until late April.

Thanks, I see what James is saying, a lot of celebrities do pose for pictures but often in crowds they are so rushed and just a quick stop and shoot. In this case Cuba was taking the time and making sure everyone got a decent picture.

Why didn't he sign?

I'm not really sure, a few people had asked but he just said "not tonight". I assume it was because if he signed for one person then everyone would want an autograph, it was already almost 1:00 in the morning so I can understand him not wanting to, I'm glad I was able to meet him and get a photo.
