Not to rain on your parade but if they have certain collectors there they will not sign. You got lucky but otherwise stars have been warned not to sign for certain collectors. I even heard this from my friend who lives out in LA and someone on here also mentioned it. Just to let you know Kimmel isn't always a gurantee and it's not a easy as it looks. Some people ruin it. Not you...... Certain collectors.

I see no harm in posting names of places, it is up to the individual poster as to if they post locations etc, the only ones I am against being posted, and I remove from threads if I see them, is names of hotels where people are staying, as I see that as a breach of their privacy
I'm sure this info on where to wait etc is available on the internet, so I see no harm in it being posted.
Nice sucesses!

James, maybe you can understand where I'm coming from.
James the reason I don't like locations devulged is because by doing so and saying you had a good sucess there, it brings in more people. Therefore making it harder to get an autograph for yourself. Yeah Kimmel is a well known talk show but saying its easy just encourages more and more dealers and lookiloos to come out. I remember the first year Kimmel there would only be maybe, 10 people hanging out for autographs. Now, when the word came out "how easy" it was you'll get 30 to 50 people, depending on the guest. I don't know about you but I hate it when people push and shove, especially the dealers. I'm just trying to make it easier for myself and the other people that have been messing with Kimmel since the begining.
Yes, if you did the research you probably can find the location and the event info on your own. That's fine. My point is let that other person find the information on his/her own. Let them do the work instead of just "giving" out the info for "free".
I tried to tell Pepsi this but she took it the wrong way.
I say this again I AM GLAD OF HER SUCCESS. AND I HOPE SHE GET"S MANY MORE. All I was trying to do was give her some friendly advice so she could continue to have many more successes.
Also I 100% agree with you on the hotel situation. One thing I can't stand is crossing the line and interfering with someplace that's private. May I also add airports, movie theatres and resteraunts. I know that the dealers love to mess with these but I respect the celebrities privacy not to do that. They are just people and they deserve their private time.

I don't know, all of that just sounds really selfish. Pepsi wanted to help out other people. That's the purpose of this forum, right? To help people obtain addresses, learn about authenticity, etc.?
People keep trying to turn this hobby into something for the elite few. It's a hobby and it brings a lot of joy to many people. Why try to inhibit that?

Ok
But maybe the next time you get pushed to the ground or someone shoves their photo over your head, you'll know what I'm talking about.

I have been to hotels for successes, and see nothing wrong with that, but am then totally against someone posting the info on where people are staying online. I only wait outside, am polite, and it's up to them if they sign or not. But knowing it is the only way here (London) that I am going to get someone that I am a fan of (I've only been to hotels 3 or 4 times) then I am prepared to do it, but never then give away for info publicly.
I see where you're coming from; there are studios here that I go for to get IPs, when I started in 2007 there were 10-15 people, recently has been up to 40ish, can't say that's just due to online things but it doesn't help. But everyone has an opinion as to whether they post studio info up, so there's nothing that can be done on it.

Also just to add, London doesn't have situations like USA (from videos I've seen), with places like Letterman, Regis and Kelly, where you can wait roadside or whatever, that isn't possible for TV shows and A listers here. So from that side, I can't argue as I've never really experienced the pushing and shoving I have seen in videos.
For many A Listers, premieres and hotels (and sometimes radio studios) can be the only places to get A Listers; I don't like premieres as I can't put up with waiting all day, studios is hit and miss here as there's no way of really knowing when someone will/may turn up. I've waited for people I'm fans of (Bono, Jay Z, etc) at hotels, not just for an autograph, but because I'm a fan, and there's no other way I'll meet them.
