JOE COCKER SUCCESS TOM PETTY FAILURE

FIRST OF ALL COULD NOT FIND TOM PETTY STAYING ANYWHERE IN MY CITY.HE IS A TOUGH IN PERSON TO GET.HE IS VERY ELUSIVE AND IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIGURE OUT WERE HE WAS STAYING.I MIGHT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET HIM BUT I GAVE UP.IF YOU CAN FIND HIM HE WILL SIGN FOR YOU.FOUND JOE COCKER THOUGH.HE IS A GREAT GUY AND IS A CLASS ACT.ONE OF THE NICEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET.WAS GRACIAS AND VERY HAPPY TO SEE US AT THE HOTEL AND TO TAKE PICTURES AND SIGN FOR US.IT ACTUALLY SEEMED TO MAKE HIM HAPPY TO SIGN FOR US.HE HAD A GREAT BIG SMILE ON HIS FACE IN THE PICTURES TO.THERE WERE QUITE A FEW OF US THERE TO.I GOT A PICKGUARD AND A PHOTO SIGNED.I COULD OF GOT MORE PICKGAURDS SIGNED(PROBABLY AS MANY AS I WANTED)BUT I FELT BAD ASKING HIM FOR MORE BECAUSE HE WAS SO GREAT TO ALL OF US.HE WAS GREAT THE WHOLE DAY.A GREAT EXPERIENCE THAT MAKES GETTING IN PERSON AUTOGRAPHS WORTH WHILE.UNLIKE THE DAY BEFORE WITH CARRIE UNDERWOOD WHO PUT A SOUR TASTE IN MY MOUTH AND MADE ME WONDER WHY I TRY GETTING IN PERSON AUTOGRAPHS..I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THIS SUCCESS

My feelings haven't changed on the hotel local BUT you sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Glad it wasn't a total waste and you found Cocker. Seriously doubted you would have gotten Petty. He really doesn't like to sign. Why do you think you couldn't track him down? He just doesn't like to be bothered.

actually if you can find tom petty he will sign.He will make it sound like he does not want to but he always does.I have gotten him before and he has always signed for me.The problem is all of the bands have always stayed at the same hotel in my city and all of a sudden the last six months they have started to stay a differnet hotels some times.None of us can figure out why.Some of them are actually dumps.This is only the second time I ever not been able to figure out were a band has not stayed.Latley we have really had to work for it.And bud I disagree with you.There is no difference going to the hotel then there is going to a movie premier or a hotal.The only way possible to get autographs in my city is to go to the hotel.The arena has a ramp and they all go underneath the arena.There is no way to meet them there.I have always mostly had good luck getting music artists that have come to my city.
