Jeff Goldblum at Theatre success

I saw Jeff's play, THE PRISONER OF 2nd AVENUE in London last week, it was a great, very funny show and afterwards Jeff kindly signed my photos, personalising his head shot for me and also my ticket.

Although a great signer, the person with Jeff kept hurrying him. At the Old Vic, where he was in theatre last he was able to take his time, this time at Thea Vaudville, the system was much less organised as I suspected it was, always a shame if the actor wants to sign and take his time.

AWESOME! I'd love to meet Jeff. I love it how some of the coolest actors wind up going back to theatre work and become accessible to their fans.

Congrats mymymy
I envy you that live in the UK. Though I've seen my share of celebrities out here in the US, there are many that rarely come out here.

thanks

thanks all

the stage door is directly oposite to the front; there is an allyway on either side of the theatre and go down to reach it, very easy! Yes, Jeff uses the stage door and doesnt sneak out like some people do.

The play is 2hrs, 30 mins meaning it finishes at 10pm

good luck

well here is the situation as i see it;

1. was this after matinee bcasue he doesnt ever sem to come out then?

2. When Jeff was at the old vic they had a great stage door sysetm, you qued up and everyone got to meet jeff! marvelous!, sadly at the vaudville there is a PA with jeff who tells him how much he should sign and when he has to stop and go, part of it is a nagging PA who doesnt appriecatte jeff wanting to sign and secondly, the street of the stage door is so narrow it is very hard for jeff's car to hang around as cars can come and then his car would have go round the block as its a narrow one way street!

3. Jeff is lovely, its not him as a person, my recomendation to you is to go pre-show, at about 5pm as i have done and got him no probs going in, he was friendly, relaxed and you get a much better sig!

good lcuk
