Wow! That guy's a legend. Glad you got to meet him. It's a shame you didn't have anything for him to sign, though.

Congrats, he is currently doing "The Merchant of Venice" on stage in Central Park so the "look" makes sense.
p.s. - always carry index cards from now on!

Thanks guys. Luckily for me if my interest scale was broken down out of 100. I'm a 90 photo 10 autograph guy, photos far outweigh autographs for me, add that to the fact his autograph is nothing more than a scribble, which makes me ok with getting only a photo.
With that said good idea on the index card idea, I will do that.

For me, getting a picture of the star (or with the star) is the next best thing. I did that with Julie Andrews at a book signing - couldn't meet her, so I took about 20 pictures of her from where I was standing. I was standing very close, so I was able to get pretty clear and close-up shots. I also try to at least get a handshake if I can't get an autograph.

Sometimes I wish I cared about autographs more than photos with, it makes it much easier to leave a situation satisfied.
Photos with to me are the hardest part of the hobby to obtain in crowded scenes. It's the most important for me, so it just makes success all the sweeter.

And if you take a picture with a star, nobody can tell you that you didn't meet them.

Awesome! You are like me:) I mean in any sense that I like photos more than autos. I mean photos first then autographs. That's why I avoid signings or if I hear a celeb won't do pics I won't go after them. I mean with a photo you can prove you met them with a auto I have had people say you have no proof, etc so it can become fustrating. Where was he?? Comic Con?
