When the opportunity arises to go to "an audience with Desmond Tutu", there's no way I would say no!

After the talk, which was brilliant, went to the stage door to see what would happen.. Sir Trevor McDonald came out and signed my programme and posed for a photo with. Security then asked me and the 2 others waiting to leave the "private" area, so we did.

Of course as soon as we saw Tutu coming out of stage door, went over, and he signed for the 5 or so waiting I asked would a picture be possible, security man said "No, he's tired" to which he repleid "No I'm not, give the young man a chance"

So have possibly the best photo with I've ever had!

Cool! He's definitely a historical figure. He sent me a signed photo and 'compliments' slip through e-mail a few years ago.
