It was amazing to meet Sir Ben at last nights World Premier of MADE IN DAGENHAM in London's Leicester Square.
Ben was a guest on the red carpet and did quite alot of signing and posing for photos. I loved Ben in Gandhi, Shutter Island and in Thuderbirds (although not a great film, Ben's performance was great, i feel it was the script that really let this down).
Ben posed for a photo with (he was posing and he did but he turned away as he was talking to me, i dont mind hes not facing the camera as we were talking. He also signed a shot alreaddy signed by Lord Richard Attenborough of him and Ben on set of GANDHI. A lovely piece I think, im very happy.

Congrats Benedict. Did you have any joy with Bob Hoskins, Miranda Richardson etc.

Re: SIR BEN KINGSLEY SUCCESS
thanks guys!!
Sadly Bob did not sign a huge amount, what was even worse was that the 2 ocasions he did come over to sign, he was 2 people away from me, soooo close yet soooo far, he was even doing photos with. Bob seemed fairly relaxed and okay with it, sadly his PA had other ideas. I appreciatte the PA has to get the stars to do press etc, but 2-3 mins max with the fans is completely appaling and unexeptable, i had been waiting 8 hours just for him!!
Ryan; yah, i totally get that, it happens alot, if im doing a photo with some just cant help but look!
Re Miranda; dont ask, she is ranound for being a terrible signer, she has refused me twice IP one on one!

Re: SIR BEN KINGSLEY SUCCESS
Congrats mymymy!
Over here Ben is a little tough to get. Forget about getting him at premieres here in the states but if you're able to get close enough to him at other events/award shows, he will sign and take photo opps.
I've only gotten Miranda once to sign and pose for a photo opp ( the ONLY reason she did it was because it was my birthday ) at the HBO party back in January of 2005. Apperances here in the US are rare on the west coast, so I went all out to get her. First I wore a suit to blend in with the crowd and I also bribbed valet to let me stay near the red carpet. Everything worked out good.
Ditto with Bob Hoskins. The only time I ever saw him was at the premiere of Mrs Henderson back in December of 2005. The premiere was held at a very small theatre in Beverly Hills. My goal was to get Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins. Judi first arrived and signed up a storm. Unfortunately Mr. Hoskins arrived at the same time so we missed him. After I got Judi I didn't want to take any chances and I headed out to the back of the theatre. NO SECURITY what so ever and I called it right. After Mr. Hoskins did press he went right through the theater and exited out the back door. He signed a Hook piece for me and a Roger Rabbit photo. I also got a photo opp with him. He was very nice! The reason he left early was because he wasn't feeling very well.
Mymymy, I didn't mean to turn around and turn this post all about me but I just wanted to show you that though we do get a lot of celebrities out here there are some that we never seem to see out here often enough.
Sometimes I envy you because you have more oppertunaties to see more of the British actors. I would love to see people like Sir Richard Antenborough, Maggie Smith or any of the other Potter people.
Another great success mymymy. Keep on graphing!
