Journalist, Author, and Palestinian Activist Gideon Levy

Gideon Levy is an Israeli journalist and editor for the Haaretz newspaper, and has long been an outspoken and controversial opponent of the Israeli occupation of Palestine, particularly the Gaza Strip. He is the son of 2 Holocaust survivors, lived through the Six Day War, and is also a former aide to Shimon Peres.
I went and saw him speak at my campus tonight and afterwards he autographed one of the cards advertising his lecture.
