Well I never thought I would see the day, I spotted none other than Robbie Coltrane walking up Shaftesbusy Avenue on his way to the YES PRIMINISTER Press night on Monday evening. Me and a friend crossed the road and appreoached him. I offered him my Harry Potter Poster and said "Mr Coltrane, please could I get an autograph" to which he replied "im running late", with one more persuassion from me and my friend he signed for the 2 of us, although whilst doing so moaning about it saying things like "I know I will see these on Ebay in the morning", I did say no, I was a fan, i will treasure this but of course he didnt believe me. During the course of the night whilst coming out for smokes he signed a couple here and there, he was very fussy and changed his tune within seconds, signing fairly happpily despite the selling comments and then abruptly slaming down the pen and storming off, he was very wierd!

He only posed for one photo with (a young girl) although earlier saying HE NEVER POSES but did get a photo with of sorts whilst he was signing.

Despite his mood I am very pleased that I got this very rare signer and great actor.

I don't understand the mindset of celebrities... If they sign more autographs, the value would go down.

yah, i totally understand, sadly some of these celebs have no clue to be honest. I just think hes a grumpy sod, it seemed that way to be, pretty oposite to Hagrid in a way who seems pretty friendly

Congrats on getting him, being the bond fan I am to me he will always Valentine Zukovsky.

Congrats about getting him. I can understand why he didnt want to sign, being as he was on his own personal time.

I could definately be wrong, but it sounds as though he was at a press conference or something.

Althogh basic economics does dictate that the more he signs,the less his auto is worth, the reality is that the more he signs,the more end up on ebay.

Not really, he was walking up the street. Some people dont mind being stopped in the street (Noel Clarke for one) others... do.
