I recently attended a book signing for 61 year old "General Hospital" star & musician Rick Springfield. He signed my copy of his new book "Late, Late at Night" and also posed for a picture.

I go to tons of book signings and only one, Dog the Bounty Hunter, did not pose for photos. You were allowed to take photos though. Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, they all posed for pictures.

When you say pose do you mean taking photos of them or with them?? Because every signing I have heard of you can photos of them but not with them.

That's the general rule but there have been exceptions. It's up to the book store.

When I say pose, I mean take photos with them. Like I said, I've only been to one where you couldn't pose, but like someone else said, it's up to the store, and I always visit the same bookstore for author signings.
