This past weekend (October 21st-24th) I traveled out with my dad to attend the annual Waltons reunion in Lynchburg, VA!

Joe Conley (Ike Godsey) was the featured guest this year and I got to meet him and had him sign some items for me! He was so kind and I even got a special chance to sit with him for a few minutes after the banquet dinner while he signed my book and cards!

I also managed to pick up a couple of free 8x10 photos that were signed by Lynn Hamilton (Verdie foster) and Cissy wellman (One signed "Mrs Yancy Tucker")

I gave a letter to the fan club President for David Harper (Jim Bob Walton), and she promised that she'd pass it along to him, I will be so happy when I hear back from him as he's the only one I need to complete my main Waltons cast series!!

That's awesome! Can you believe that after all these years I've still never seen this show before?? lol.

I was actually on Facebook the other day and I clicked on the other Ryan (ryco)'s profile to send him a message and it led me to your profile and I saw your photo with him! It's awesome and sounds like you had fun!

Thanks kennedyniles!! It's a really great show, funny thing is I was never even born when the whole series finished in 1981 after 9 years! I'm looking forward to going next year, then 2012 will be in CA, so really want to go there too!!

Well, I'm actually younger than you! (only 16 lol) but I happen to like the older shows a really lot!! For example, The Brady Bunch, Three's Company, etc., so I'll definitely check out this show soon.

I love the brady bunch as well!! that's another cast series I need to try and complete. It's hard because none of the kids sign TTM that much and Robert Reed has passed away some time ago.

He sure does!! I wrote to Joe years ago and he signed all my items, I will definitely be sending a photo of me and him to sign for my collection!!
