Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day)

Yesterday I went to see American idiot on Broadway because the lead singer of Green Day, Billie Joe Armstrong was in it as St. Jimmy. It was a fantastic show. Mike Dirnt was in the audiance and Billie pulled him up on stage for Time of Your Life at the end.
Since there was 2 shows that day, I got there before the afternoon show ended to try to get Billie there, but he was too tired to come out. I did manage to get 3 cast members on my cast recording CD cover.
After the night show (the one we saw), I figured why not try again. He has to come out sometime after this one. Sure enough he came out eventually, and I got my "program" (not playbill, a bigger book) signed by him and some of the cast. As for Mike Dirnt, well I think he just went out the main door and nobody noticed him. I am so happy I managed to get Billie's autograph though. He was high on my people to meet list.
