Ron Paul, Chuck Schumer, James Clyburn, Claire McCaskill...

Visiting DC this week. Stood up at the Capitol for about 4 hours yesterday. Got the signatures of:

Ron Paul: Was rushing inside for a vote. Still kind enough to sign. Not a big fan of his politics, but was nice to see him.

Peter King: Was trying get to his car quickly. Had press surrounding him with questions about "muslim radicalization" hearings he is holding. Looked surprised to hear someone ask for his signature. I'm not really a big fan of his politics, but he was really kind.

James Clyburn: Was in a rush. Was kind enough to sign.

Chuck Schumer: Saw him hop into a car. I ran over there, waved my pen. He had the driver stop, rolled down his window and signed. Said "good luck to you."

Claire McCaskill: Saw her walking to her office building. She was on the phone, but kindly signed.

Also saw: Alan Greenspan, John Ensign, Patrick Leahy and Dennis Kucinich.
I realize that these aren't most peoples definitions of "celebrities", but they are in my book.

Congrats. Not a huge fan of Ron Paul either, or Pete King (is he the one who had ties with the ira?)

Thats realy cool, I'd love to take a trip to DC and get some of the US political signatures. I live in Ottawa and work on Parliament Hill so I always keep a book that I bought about the Parliament Buildings with me and get the Members of Parliament and Senators to sign it for me.
