A friend and I went out to a local venue in hopes that Elton would be in a signing mood. But Elton being Elton he gave you zero opportunity to even get close to him. He flew in on his private jet to the private airstrip, took a limo to the venue escorted by police and pulled right into the drive in garage inside the venue. This was the first time that I've ever seen anyone be allowed entry into the garage.
There were probably 5 people waiting at the gate when he arrived cheering, chanting and waving at him and he couldn't even muster a nod, smile or a wave back.

Sorry to hear that. I wonder if it was just his mood or if he never gets out to sign for fans at venues.
