Just got back from attending a discussion and signing for 64 year old "All My Children" actress Susan Lucci and her new book "All My Life" which hit the shelves today, March 29th. After a short Q&A, Susan personalized my book and posed for a photo with me.

very cool, did she happen to talk at all about the likely hood that All my children will be canceled at the end of the summer. Its such ashame that its most likely going to happen.
She is a great actress, amazing that she has been there since day 1.

well it is widely known that its going to be canceled. they just had a big write up about it in the L.A. Times last week. it has to do with them having to big of a budget. Ironicly enough one of the reasons why the budget is so over is her salary as she is the highest paid actress on daytime.(deservedly so )

I can't say that I'd be sorry to see it go. After moving from NYC to LA, the show went downhill rapidly. Ray MacDonnell, Lee Meriwether, Jennifer Bassey, David Canary, & Julia Barr all left & James Mitchell passed away. It just isn't the same show that it used to be.
