Rihanna Success - NYC

When I heard Rihanna was doing an event at Macy's in NYC to promote her perfume I just knew I had to go. I enjoy her music and think she's really hot so I figured it'd be a great opportunity to get a nice photo with her.
I met my friend at 10:30 and we headed to the store for the 3:00 appearance. We were the 3rd and 4th people to arrive and line up, we planned to get the 10th spot on line, so we'd have enough time to assess the scene but close enough to still be out quick. Lining up proved to be a bit problematic, we were told we could not line up until 2pm and we were told to either go elsewhere or walk around the store. My friend and I hung out with 2 girls we met on the line and another dude and killed time until 2pm walking around Macy's. As I expected, the moment 2pm hits, a mad stampede breaks out and we end up about 100 back on the line. I didn't raise a stink since I know how quick these events move at Macy's and figured it wasn't worth the effort for such a minor setback.
Rihanna arrived around 3:20 and once the line started moving, it flew by. Rihanna was real friendly and greeted us with a hug before posing for the photos. I usually scoff at the people getting hugs at these signings but since she's gorgeous and was hugging everybody else, I figured it'd be criminal and downright insulting to not get one myself.
Once the photo was snapped we walked off the stage and outside the curtained in area, where our photos were brought to us moments later, they really came out great.
