Went to the Padres Astros game on 6-5-2011 at Petco Park. While the Padres were taking batting practice, I was in the right field home run corner. Three little kids were trying to get players to throw them a ball. Out of nowhere comes Padres starter Tim Stauffer who had been shagging fly balls in Center Field. He gives a ball to the kids, and we strike up a brief conversation. I brought 2 baseballs to the game. I asked if he could sign one of my baseballs.
