Wednesday just gone , I went to the matinee of the Agatha Christie play Verdict in Blackpool , England . There are a few regular TV stars in the production , but my main target was Matthew Lewis , who plays Neville in all the Harry Potter films .

First up I met Susan Penhaligon , who I know from various stuff , but mainly from a Jon Pertwee Doctor Who story (Doctor Who is one of my main things) , and the original series of Bouquet of Barbed Wire from the 70s . She signed a photo and a Doctor Who book of the story she was in . Not totally friendly , but not unfriendly - I am glad she signed the DW book , which is now signed by 5 , including Jon Pertwee himself .

Next came Robert Duncan , who I know as Gus , the boss from Drop The Dead Donkey - very friendly , asked me about the photos and where I got them ( also mentioned copyright , saying his wife is a photographer - as the photos are for me only , not going to sell , it is not too much of a problem ;-) ) . He signed 2 photos from 2 different plays .

Then came Peter Byrne . He signed my auto book . Very friendly , told us that all the cast except him had been out to the casino the night before and that they may be feeling slightly unwell :lol:

Next came Mark Wynter , again very friendly , told some nice stories , wrote messages on all our items ( signed 2 photos , one already signed by Susan , one already signed by Robert ) .

Lastly came Matthew , very nice , hung up his phone so he could stop and sign for us , happy to answer questions . I got to him with a few photos , said that he could sign what he wanted , he said no problem , he would sign whatever . In all he signed 4 photos ( 2 Harry Potter , including a poster photo from the next film , also a photo from the play and a headshot of himself ), and my wife's video cover of one of the HP films , now signed by 6 . Great meet , was originally going to the Leeds show next month , but he told me he is finishing next week in time for the Premiere of the new film , so lucky we went .

Did meet a couple of the other cast , and also missed another lady who had been in Doctor Who , but , on the whole , very enjoyable {up}
